Narcotics are substances or drugs derived from plants or non-plants, whether synthetic or semi-synthetic, which can cause a decrease or change in consciousness, loss of taste, reduce or even eliminate pain, and can cause dependence. In accordance with Article 1 of the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights, what is meant by Legal Counseling is one of the activities of disseminating information and understanding of legal norms and applicable laws and regulations in order to create and develop legal awareness in the community so as to create a legal culture in the form of order and compliance. against legal norms and applicable laws and regulations for the sake of upholding the supremacy of law. The implementation method used to deliver legal education material is cognitive but packed with fun information. Apart from that, the approach method used in this Community Service is through the method of delivering materials and then at the end of the event a question and answer is held, with this question and answer the community is given the opportunity to ask questions according to the counseling theme, or the community can ask questions outside of the predetermined theme. Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics regulates efforts to eradicate Narcotics crimes through the threat of fines, imprisonment, life imprisonment and the death penalty. Prevention efforts include preventive efforts, namely efforts to prevent violations of the law. For example, being selective in choosing friends and staying away from social environments that can have a negative impact on oneself as well as repressive efforts, namely efforts to restore the situation after deviations occur. For example, providing guidance or counseling to perpetrators of narcotics crimes and taking action against people suspected of using, storing and selling narcotics.
